Business Lessons from the Ice Cream Man in Panama

Earlier today I walked down into town to grab some lunch with my friends Cole and Max.

As you know, I absolutely love business and marketing and when we were walking back we came across a situation that taught a valuable business lesson…

TAKE A LOOK AT WHERE THIS GUY WITH HIS LITTLE ICE CREAM CART IS..

Do you see a lot of people walking by this guy?

There wasn’t a lot of people who walk along this street, but it does happen to be on the walk back to my house here in Valle Escondido so we happened to be walking along the street.

Get this, about 2 blocks the opposite way is where downtown Boquete is. There’s people walking all over the place visiting shops, enjoying the weather and just waiting to buy some ice cream because it was a beautiful day!

Yet this guy was perched up here on this street with no people on it (except us).

This is something that a lot of people tend to do when it comes to building a business…especially an online business.

You’ve got to GET IN FRONT OF THE PEOPLE!

If you don’t have people walking into your store, or visiting your website you are not going to make any sales and that means no money!

I don’t know about you, but I like money. *cue voice from Idiocracy*

It can be very difficult for people to start getting traffic to their website when they first get started with marketing their business online. I know for me, I had a hell of a time trying to figure it all out.

Luckily, I ended up learning how to do it and now drive a LOT of traffic to websites so I can make a lot of money, which makes me happy happy happy like Phil from Duck Dynasty.

If you don’t know how to drive traffic to your website, you need to get the book “Traffic Secrets” from Russell Brunson.

It digs into everything from media buys, facebook advertising, solo ads and every other way imaginable to drive traffic to your website.

The only true tip I could give for this guy selling ice cream at the slowest street in town is to head back into town and start getting in front of the people!

The ice cream was only $0.75 and was delicious! It was the first time I ever had coconut ice cream and damn was it tasty!

Check out some of the pictures below and see the little machine he was selling this out of.
