The past couple days after I’ve done my workout I have been sitting in a steam bath.
Now I’m not sure if you’ve ever sat in a steam bath or not, or even if you know what one is. I didn’t really know what it was when I first hit the button to turn it on and hit that light switch, I was walking into the unknown.
Like, I didn’t know if there was going to be someone hiding in there with a wet towel waiting to whip me with it like we used to do in the locker room after sports games. Man there was a lot of red welts left from those towels back in the day…
Lucky for me, I still went into the steam bath and sat down in there and started breathing deeply like I learned when I started doing yoga.
You can learn about the benefits from a steam room in the video here:
I probably should have watched that before going into the steam bath for my first time.
I seriously did not know what to expect when I first was going into this crazy contraption.
Gotta admit though, I feel like a champ while sitting in that thing breathing in deeply and breathing out. Meditating a little bit and doing some of those humming exercises that you do at the end of yoga.
While sitting in the steam bath, I noticed that you can not see a damn thing too far in front of you. It’s kind of like when you’re driving at night with your regular headlights on. You can see a little bit in front of you, but those high beams sure would help you with seeing more.
Have you ever felt like it’s difficult to see your path?
At times it can be extremely difficult to see where you are going in your life.
This is one of my favorite quotes from the movie and book, The Secret. It’s also super fitting for sitting in the steam bath.
Even when you aren’t able to see very far in front of you you sometimes just have to trust that something is going to work out. Personally I’ve experienced a lot of different situations where I had absolutely no idea what direction my life was going and I just kept chugging along to make sure I could do the stuff I love doing.
When I first went down to Costa Rica I didn’t know how it was going to work out. However the stuff that I learned while down there has had a profound impact on my life. This explains why I’m now in Panama and planning on some more travels this year and for the next couple years.
Last night I was lucky enough to have dinner and drinks with some multi-millionaires.
These are guys who are running 50 million dollar a year businesses and above. People who I aspire to be.
While we were talking I was lucky enough to listen in on what their conversations were based off of and the different ideas that they discussed. Plans of buying hundreds of acres of land here in Panama to build aquaponic and hydroponic farms so that they will have something to trade if something serious happens with the currency of the world.
Other plans of building up an entire development on a private lake that covers over 70 acres of land and turning it into a self-sufficient land.
If you haven’t seen the video I shot from the waterfall of that private lake, check it out here.
Even jokes of making wooden pontoon boats and selling Tom Sawyer type tours around the lake were made. It was during this point that one of the guys whipped out $1,000 bucks and was joking about following through with it and being an “early investor” and buying in early. haha
someone said to him “You just carry $1,000 in your pocket?!”
and his exact quote was “You never know when you’ll find a good thing to invest in”
It was a great experiencing being around these people. The way that they talk and communicate is that they all see the big picture and are using the resources that each of them have in order to make a bigger impact on this world.
All I can say is that I’m super grateful for being here and I believe that even though I can’t see a path to get to my goal of 1 million a month, I know that even if I can’t see it at this current mindset, I’m going to achieve it.
