How To Choose an Amazon Product to Promote for Affiliate Commissions

The Process I Use to Find an Amazon Product to Promote

Log onto Amazon Best Sellers list.

Step 1) Look for a price point of at least $250

Step 2) Look for a product rating of at least 4 stars

Step 3) Look for at least 20 or more Product Reviews

Step 4) Check the Product Demand using Google Keyword Tool

Step 5) Check Product Trends Google Trends

Step 6) Put the keyword in parenthesis on Google.com to see if it has under 300,000 competing websites

Step 7) Monetize your blog using Affiliate Blog Empire

    The $250 minimum price point is crucial – unfortunately, there are still new affiliates who approach building an Amazon affiliate site from the “untapped niche” angle. Only to realize that low ticket items make you ZERO money because Amazon’s commission is relatively low. Great tips!

    I feel ya on that. I used to try promoting products that were $30 or so and hoping for massive commissions. This really made me no money at all and was frustrating! I’m glad you enjoyed this !
