If you are new here and didn’t know, I love to study dating and relationship advice. Yes, that means that I study pick-up artists because I find that the stuff that these guys have learned has helped me improve myself beyond just dating. You can learn more about this in my post on a lesson I learned from pick-up artists here.
Earlier today I was watching a few YouTube videos from Neil Strauss and came across this video:
– Rules of the Game
– How to Make Love Like a Porn Star
– Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead
– The Dirt
– Don’t Try This at Home
– The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell
– How to Make Money Like a Porn Star
So far I’ve read The Game, Rules of the Game, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star and Emergency. I love Neil’s style of writing and will definitely be picking up the rest of these books.
Some of the gold nuggets I took away from this video:
“Everything that you will do that will make you a better person is going to make you a more attractive person. “ – Neil
It originally started with me wanting to learn how to pick up girls, yet I’ve learned a lot about myself on this journey. It’s funny how the things that some of these pick-up artists talk about are actually things un-related to picking up girls. Some of the stuff that these guys talk about is all about YOU and improving yourself.
Learning how to improve yourself leads to doing things that make you happier and this leads to you projecting more confidence in your daily life. This confidence naturally is attractive to all other people and shows that you are living a happy and fulfilled life. The cool thing about this is that it will improve your life and it’ll also make dating easier for you!
“Everything that women like will generally make you a better person.” – Neil
Haha this one is a little crazy, but it’s the absolute truth. As much as I hate to admit it, women tend to always know what’s best for us guys.
I’ve gotta admit that women have helped me grow so much as a person. If it was up to me, and probably other guys, all we would be doing is drinking beer, watching football and eating pizza.
“The purpose of life is to survive and replicate. That’s it.“ -Mystery
It’s crazy to think about this, but from an evolutionary standpoint, we are designed to survive and replicate. This means that all of the decisions we make have an underlying meaning behind them that can be directly related to surviving and replicating.
